Trump Campaign Faces Lawsuit for Copyright Infringement
The family of renowned soul singer Isaac Hayes has issued a legal notice to the Donald Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC), threatening a lawsuit for continued unauthorized use of the iconic Sam & Dave hit "Hold On, I'm Comin'."
According to the notice, the Hayes family alleges that Trump's campaign has played the song at numerous campaign rallies without obtaining permission or paying licensing fees.
This latest legal challenge adds to the growing number of lawsuits facing the Trump campaign over music copyright infringement. In recent months, the campaign has faced similar allegations from artists including The Rolling Stones, Adele, and Neil Young.
